Group 1 will begin at 9:00 am by walking to the Forever Marilyn statue in Palm Springs. From there, the Visit Greater Palm Springs team will split everyone into three smaller groups for three hotel tours (Kimpton , Palm Mountain & The Avalon ). Each is within walking distance of the Marilyn statue, and each other. The three groups will rotate their tours before loading onto the coach for the next stop, the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage . Afterwards, lunch is tentatively scheduled at the Acrisure Arena followed by a brief tour. Following lunch, the group will visit the JW Marriott Desert Springs with the final stop at The Indian Wells Golf Resort . This final stop will not only showcase the 36-hole golf facility but provide an opportunity for nearby hotel reps to join for networking and give a brief 5-minute presentation. The hotels currently scheduled to attend include The Renaissance Esmeralda , Grand Hyatt , La Quinta Resort and Residence Inn La Quinta . Our anticipated return to Palm Springs is around 4:00 pm. The system automatically approves appointment requests after 72 hours, but these can easily be canceled or rescheduled when necessary.
