How many appointments should a Supplier expect?
Each Supplier registration is provided one set of pre-scheduled appointments. A full appointment schedule is approximately 15 to 25 individual appointments. The number of appointments is determined by two factors:
1) How many Tour Operators you choose to meet with and
2) How many Tour Operators chose to meet with you.
Priority is given to Tour Operator appointment requests.
Will a Supplier get an appointment with every Tour Operator that they have requested?
Not necessarily. Go West Summit utilizes a computerized matching program to produce the appointment schedules. Tour Operator appointment requests are given first priority for scheduled appointments. Once the Tour Operators appointment requests are scheduled then the Supplier requests are included in the Tour Operator appointment schedule. We also keep the Suppliers and Tour Operators together for the whole Summit - lunches, dinners and activities - so you have numerous opportunities to meet each Tour Operator and pitch your
product.
Which Tour Operators will be at the Go West Summit?
We expect 130 Tour Operators from Latin America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada, Asia, and the United States. Pre-qualified media (Travel Writers) are also invited to attend.
What should a Supplier bring to the Go West Summit?
Rate sheets, blank contracts, an image portfolio (with pictures and a description of the destination, business or property) and lots of business cards.
Do suppliers set up a tradeshow booth?
No. The one-on-one scheduled appointments are conducted at designated business stations. Tour Operators will be seated at the business stations with Suppliers visiting the Tour Operators for the pre-schedule, one-on-one meetings.
What is the attire? What will the weather be like?
The attire for the Go West Summit is business/business casual during the business meetings and business/resort casual for the evening events. If you plan to take part in some outdoor adventure--make sure to bring some play clothes!

Are there airfare discounts available?
Yes. The Go West Summit occasionally has airline sponsors that provide air service from around the world and they are offering discounted rates specifically for the Go West Summit. Please visit the Travel section of this web site for complete details.
Which Suppliers will be at the Go West Summit?
We expect 200 Suppliers from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming attend Go West Summit.
What should a Tour Operator bring to the Go West Summit?
Bring a copy of your brochure or marketing piece along with a brief fact sheet about your company and lots of business cards.
